ZING OFFERS PROBONO SERVICES TO NONPROFITS

ZING invites South Dakota nonprofit organizations to submit applications for its annual CreateAthon® event to be held Sept 15–16, 2011. CreateAthon is a 24-hour blitz during which ZING provides creative marketing services to non-profit organizations on a probono basis.

The national CreateAthon event, founded by RIGGS Partners, is held each year in September and has benefited over 1,100 non-profit organizations with 2,500 projects valued at more than $11 million. Since the program’s expansion from a single market to a national effort in 2002, 73 advertising and marketing firms across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico have participated in the CreateAthon network and have held events in their cities. ZING is the exclusive CreateAthon agency for South Dakota.

In addition to ZING, volunteers including photographers, illustrators, musicians, web developers and others will be donating their talents. Some examples of marketing materials that could be created are: logos, brochures, TV and radio commercial scripts, outdoor ads and web projects.

Zing will accept CreateAthon applications from nonprofits in South Dakota until August 10,2011. Organizations selected to receive CreateAthon services will be announced by August 17. All 501(c)3 organizations are invited to apply.
